What's new:
  • CASA is continuing to serve children during the COVID-19 outbreak. However, some things are different, including:
    • Our office remains closed to visitors. We can be reached by email at rappcasa@gmail.com. Staff will rarely be reachable on the office phone at 540-710-6199, though we will check messages left at that number. Volunteers, feel free to call our cell phones.
    • In-person training events are on hold. We plan to train new volunteers in the fall, but we may do this virtually instead of in the office. Stay tuned!
    • CASA volunteers may resume in-person visits with the children they serve starting July 1, under certain conditions. Volunteers, in order to restart in-person visits, you must read and sign the policy we emailed you on June 17. Our ban on attending hearings and meetings remains.

  • Our next volunteer training session is tentatively scheduled to start in late fall 2020. To participate or get more details, please get in touch: 540-710-6199 or rappcasa@gmail.com.
  • Big thanks to the Rappahannock United Way: The agency recently awarded CASA a Community Impact Grant to support our advocacy for abused and neglected children. We're so grateful for the RUW's commitment to helping steer children toward healthier, safer futures.
